Gündem (The Name of Miracle)

The doctors told the family, that she hasn't any chance to live.   According their explanations she could live only maybe maximum 4 years.  She had a cerebral palsy as she was born in 1997 as 32 weeks.  Her mother feels instantly, that something is wrong with her. She took her in a hospital and so wised up to Gündem's illness there ; it  was the yellowness...

Although the related treatments regarding her illness, she could not hold her head high and beginns to feel some contractions in her body. The doctors in this hospital looses their hope with her. 

But the mother couldn't stop hoping about her daughter.  And so she decides to transfer her in another hospital.  It was the same result ; no hope!  What she became as informations for four years life span  was that she would have high probability mental retardation and also speech impairments and many many pain during taking medicines as physical and mental too.

So...  what do you think how it has end this story ?? 

As she was 2,5 years old ,thank her mother, she could walk while holding some housewares and learned some main forms, also numbers till ten.  The mother had been created  forms from colored cartoons  and every day she let her train the numbers.  So she didn't never gave up!

Even her intelligence had been developing  as a 4 years old child and also her physical condition wasn't  in best way too, the doctors had started to work with more comprehensive equipments and treatmentmethods.  She beganns to fixate an equipment to her leg that she used to be use only when she got very tired. All other kids excludes her because of her disability. 

But all things had been changed as she was 7 years old.  (what did say the docs?!!?!)  Gündem started to swim.  She got her first medal by disabled swimming championships. She won so many medals (12) so that because she couldn't have enough from being challenged , she crossed the Bosphorus by swimming and had the first place. 

Gündem is 18 years old and a beatiful young girl right now.  She is studying now in Faculty of Commercial Sciences / Istanbul University.  I am sure that she will be a helpful person in her future.

As you see, they are so many different stories that could give us many teachings for life.  This girl tell me that I should be thankful for what I have and I'll be have.

Don't give up whatever you feel - do - have - want to do  etc.   There is so many other "doors" that are waited for you to choice.

Gündem is the best example for that..

The name of miracle is GÜNDEM today.
